The pressures on our environment, natural resources and sportsmen's traditions are increasing daily. The New York State Conservation Council, Inc. (NYSCC) has been the leader in advocating the wise use and management of our natural resources. Founded in 1933, the NYSCC represents the interests of sportsmen-conservationists and abides by its mission statement.
Mission Statement
To aid in the formulation and establishment of sound policies and practices designated to conserve, protect, restore and perpetuate forests, wildlife and scenic and recreational areas with especial regard to the state of New York, to the general end that the present and succeeding generations may continue to enjoy and to use these great natural resources.
How Can You Help?
Become a member of the New York State Conservation Council, Inc., by enrolling in one of the membership categories below, today. There is strength in numbers. Your taking part in this membership program helps to strengthen the voice of sportsmen/women and conservationists, and assists in the ability of the New York State Conservation Council, Inc. to help guard the natural resources of New York State for yourself and for generations to come.

Guardian - $25 per year
Benefits: Grass Roots News newsletter monthly; email alerts as needed; membership card.
Defender - $60 per year
Benefits: Grass Roots News newsletter monthly; Legislative Reports at least once a month during legislative session; e-mail alerts as needed; membership card.
Life - $250 one time fee
Benefits: Grass Roots News newsletter monthly; email alerts as needed; membership card; certificate.
