The NYSCC is a 501(c)(3) organization, and contributions are tax deductible to the extent provided by law. We have several mechanisms for contributions, as noted below.
For Businesses: Sustaining Contribution - This donor type varies in amounts from $35 to $25,000. A business or professional individual can opt to provide a specific donation level which is generally given annually. Those in this category receive a receipt and a letter of thanks.
General Contribution - this donor type is for those who would like to make a general donation to the NYSCC for its operation, activities, and programs. This may be a one-time contribution, or annual. Those in this category receive a receipt and a letter of thanks.
BAM (Buck A Member) - Clubs and Federations who are in support of the missions and operations of the NYSCC contribute $1 (or more) per member each year. This is an annual renewal program. Those in this category receive a receipt, a letter of thanks, and a certificate.
Sponsor - This type of donation is for donors who wish to provide financial backing for specific projects, activities, publications, meetings, etc. of the NYSCC. Those in this category receive various recognitions, as well as a receipt and thank you letter.
Sponsor Ad - Business card or larger size ads will be placed in publications of the NYSCC, under certain guidelines.
