Associate Membership is available to state-wide organizations that subscribe to the purposes and goals of the NYSCC. Statewide organizations may become an Associate Member according to the following procedure:
1) Submitting to the NYSCC office all of the following: a completed membership application; a copy of your group’s constitution and bylaws; and the annual dues payment (currently $200 in 2010). Annual dues are for the period of January 1 – December 31 each year; and
2) Receiving a majority vote of the Board of Directors. All Associate Membership applications are reviewed in a manner established by the Board of Directors. Your application will be referred to our credentials committee and then be placed on the agenda for the next Board of Directors meeting.
Benefits of Associate Membership:
 ~ Your representatives would have the right to speak at meetings of the NYSCC.
 ~ Your representatives would have a vote in the conduct of the affairs of the NYSCC.
 ~ Each Associate Member may submit two resolutions each year to the Resolutions Committee. 
 ~ Your organization could designate two persons (a Councilman/Representative and an Alternate) to receive copies of all mailings made to the general membership of the Council.

Affiliate Membership is available to organizations which operate on a limited or local scale. Any organization subscribing to the purposes and goals of the NYSCC may become an Affiliate Member according to the following procedure:
1) Submitting to the NYSCC office all of the following: a completed membership application; a copy of your group’s constitution and bylaws; and the annual dues payment (currently $75 in 2010). Annual dues are for the period of January 1 – December 31 each year; and
2) Receiving a majority vote of the Board of Directors. All Affiliate Membership applications are reviewed in a manner established by the Board of Directors. Your application will be referred to our credentials committee and then be placed on the agenda for the next Board of Directors meeting. 
Benefits of Affiliate Membership:
